Travel all seven continents through books, this summer!

Join RHPL’s adult summer reading challenge (ASRC) and read or listen to at least one book every week. Discover new cities, meet new characters, and explore new genres. Then, join us in September to discuss your favourites.

Here's how it works:

  • Get started by making a promise to read a book a week for eight weeks. Research and choose your own, or check this page every Monday at 3 p.m. for recommendations.

  • Keep a record of what you read, what you liked, and what you didn’t. You’ll have a chance to recommend your favourites at our September meetup*. Please register for September meetup: Register

  • Share your reading progress with us! Post your title picks, comments, and book covers on social media using the hashtag #RHPLReadingChallenge
