Teachers in York Region – Join RHPL for FREE!
If you live, work, or attend school in York Region, you can join RHPL for FREE. Being an RHPL member provides you access to excellent educator’s resources such as NoveList, Academic Onefile, and LinkedIn Learning.
Book a Class Visit
RHPL offers FREE class visits for elementary and middle school students. Thinking Outside the Books Research Courses can take place within the classroom, or at Central Library. Each student will earn an RHPL Research Certificate. Book a class visit by contacting Central Library, or send an email to uasked@rhpl.ca.
Homework Help for Students
Students in York Region have FREE access to many academic online research tools from home, 24/7. All a student needs is their RHPL library card number and four-digit PIN.
School Project Guides
Book lists, reference materials, online databases, and resources that can be used for elementary and middle school projects in Social Sciences, Science, History, and Geography.
ESL Students
Many of the RHPL eResources for Kids on the Homework Help page have a "translate" option. Also, Audio eBooks, "Read-Alongs", and Language Learning databases are accessible with an RHPL library card number and four-digit PIN.
