Chess Classes: Intermediate II and Advanced

This program is a multi-week course that runs from Jan. 18 to Mar. 28 [note that March 28 has been CANCELLED] (Winter Session) or May 2 to Jun. 20 (Spring Session). 

Age: 6-12

Learn to play or improve your chess game. Master chess moves and learn the importance of each piece.

In these classes, the students will learn to improve their imagination, logic, critical thinking and concentration as well as developing their reasoning skills.

If you are a current chess student at Richmond Hill Public Library, please consult with the instructor as to what level you should register in for the next session before you register. Register early as space is limited. 

Note: Children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult to the program room for drop-off and pick-up for the safety of the child.

Admission: $95 per child (winter); $75 (spring). There are no chess classes during March Break (Mar. 21)
