Join the TD Summer Reading Club
Get ready for TD Summer Reading Club 2025—Canada’s biggest, bilingual, free summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests and abilities.
This year’s theme is Around the World. Kids will “travel” through Europe, Africa, Antarctica and more with stories, hands-on activities, weekly meet-ups, and fun challenges all summer long.
How It Works
The TD Summer Reading Club runs at Richmond Hill Public Library from June 30 to August 23.

June 23: Register online through Eventbrite or sign up at your local branch. Registration is free and open to children ages 0-12.

Your registration includes a SRC kit with some fun swag items, and a log book where you and your child can keep track of their summer reading journey.

Use the log book provided in your kit to keep track of what your child has read and visit our branches to share your progress with us. For every week that you share what you’ve read, you’ll be entered into one of our fabulous Summer Reading Club prize draws.

Launch Party
Attend our free TD SRC Launch Party on June 27 at Hillcrest Mall. Join us for activities, crafts, treats and more.
Weekly Meet-Ups
Drop by the TD SRC Weekly Meet-Ups happening at all our branches. Swap reading recommendations, play games, create themed activities, and more.
Mid-Summer Party
Celebrate the halfway mark of our TD Summer Reading Club with an exciting Bubble Show! Enjoy an afternoon of stunning bubble displays, interactive fun, and a burst of laughter.
Wrap-Up Party
Join us for an afternoon of face painting, magic and fun as we celebrate the end of our TD Summer Reading Club with Butterfly Barbi and Magic Ken!
