2024 Experience Passes

An RHPL card is your ticket to explore Ontario! Borrow an Experience Pass with your library membership and get admission to museums, art galleries, and parks.

How to borrow

  • Check out an Experience Pass with an adult or student membership at any RHPL branch.

  • Either place a hold to reserve a pass, or check your nearest branch for express passes that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Experience Passes can to be checked out for one week. 

How to use

  • Present the Experience Pass and your library card to get free admission. 

How to return

  • Return your Experience Passes at any RHPL branch, either in person or in the drop box.

Aga Khan Museum

The Aga Khan Museum provides visitors with a window into the artistic, intellectual, and scientific contributions of Muslim civilizations to world heritage. Founded in 2014, the museum sparks wonder, curiosity, and understanding of Muslim cultures and connections with other cultures through the arts with over 1,000 masterpieces.

The Aga Khan Museum Experience Pass offers admission for a single visit for two adults and up to four children under the age of 18. Please bring the Experience Pass and your RHPL card when you visit.

McMichael Canadian Art Collection

The McMichael Canadian Art Collection is the largest publicly funded gallery in Canada that focuses exclusively on Canadian and Indigenous art, both historical and contemporary. 

The McMichael Canadian Art Collection Experience Pass offers admission for two adults, and up to four children 18 years of age or younger, as well as free parking, and 10% off at the gallery shop. Please bring the Experience Pass and your RHPL card when you visit.

Ontario Parks

Discover and explore Ontario Parks. Enjoy over 100 provincial parks by borrowing an Ontario Parks day-use vehicle permit from Richmond Hill Public Library!

The Ontario Park Pass provides access for one vehicle and all its passengers to enter Ontario parks at no cost.

Black Creek Pioneer Village

With 40 heritage buildings to explore, 50,000 artifacts to examine, and daily activities led by costumed educators, Black Creek Pioneer Village encourage visitors to explore the past while reflecting on our present. Discover this living history site and experience a recreated 1860s village of the Toronto region, complete with over 35 restored buildings, farm animals and gardens. 

The Black Creek Pioneer Village Experience Pass offers admission for up to six people. Please note: Black Creek is only open the following dates: March 11-15, 2024 (March Break); April 20-December 23, 2024.
