All RHPL branches are physically accessible with wheelchair ramps, washrooms, and elevators where required. Entrances are equipped with automatic doors and parking spots are available for those with accessible parking permits. Learn more about our accessibility services.
If you’re unable to enter our branches, contact your local branch to arrange for curbside pickup service. No appointment necessary.
Meeting Rooms and Study Space
There is one meeting room at Richvale Branch and it can be booked for a fee. Seating, tables, and audio/visual presentation equipment is available in the room. Book a Meeting Space.
Study space is free to use and does not require a Richmond Hill Public Library membership. There’s no reservation required. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We strive to offer safe, welcoming spaces that meet the needs of our community. If you're looking for a place to pray or meditate while visiting our branches, please speak to an RHPL team member, who will do their best to support your needs. Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please let us know if you require a prayer mat.
Technology and Games
Richvale Branch has free wireless Internet access for all community members, as well as free public use PC computers with the option to print, copy and scan documents for a fee. This branch also has iPads that can be borrowed with an RHPL membership for in-branch use. Express computer stations can be used without a library membership.
