Accessibility
All RHPL branches are physically accessible with wheelchair ramps, washrooms, and elevators where required. Entrances are equipped with automatic doors and parking spots are available for those with accessible parking permits. Learn more about our accessibility services.
Curbside Pickup
If you’re unable to enter our branches, contact your local branch to arrange for curbside pickup service. No appointment necessary.
Meeting Rooms and Study Space
Meeting rooms can be booked for a fee by not-for-profit organizations and commercial businesses on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is one meeting room at Richvale Branch. Visit the Room Rentals webpage to learn more about the rooms and how to book online.
Study space is free to use throughout the library. No reservation required. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Kids' Corner
Early Literacy Stations, children’s books and games, public use computers, and printing services are available in the children's area.
Multi-Faith Spaces
We strive to offer safe, welcoming spaces that meet the needs of our community. If you're looking for a place to pray or meditate while visiting our branches, please speak to an RHPL team member, who will do their best to support your needs. Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please let us know if you require a prayer mat.
Publix Computers and Printing
The Library offers free WiFi access and public use computers (iMacs and PCs) with the option to print, copy, and scan documents for a fee. This branch also has Chromebook laptops that can be borrowed with an RHPL membership for in-branch use. Express computer stations can be used without a library card.
