Shape the future of your library
We’re developing Richmond Hill Public Library's new Strategic Plan (2026–2030) and we want to hear from you. Building our plan involves speaking to community partners, local businesses, library users, and Richmond Hill residents. You can help guide our plan and direct our efforts in how we shape the Library.

As a thank you for participating, you’ll be entered for a chance to win one of two $100 Hillcrest Mall gift cards or a Samsung Galaxy Tab A11. Start survey
- Story Sharing Across Generations – OPEN
-
In this part of our strategic planning process, youth (ages 14–24) are invited to connect with adults about their experiences and hopes for the future.
Through one-on-one conversations, we’ll learn what matters most to our community today, and what we can aspire to in the future. Participating youth will receive 2 hours of volunteer time that counts toward high school graduation requirements, and they’ll also be entered into a draw for a chance to win a $50 gift card for Hillcrest Mall!

- Storyboards and Community Pop-Ups – Closed

If you visited our branches during the month of December, you may have seen our colourful display boards. These visual displays provided community members with the opportunity to add their ideas and visions for the library’s present and future. You may have also seen us at various community events and spaces around Richmond Hill in late 2025.
Your feedback may be used to help us shape the future priorities of our Library.
