The Seeker and the Search Exhibit

The Seeker and the Search Exhibit

Artist Soheila Esfahani explores the complexities of identity, belonging, and cultural transformation in her new exhibit, The Seeker and the Search. Using Persian script as a starting point, the calligraphy gradually becomes abstract.

These works reflect the experience of living between cultures, where meaning is shaped and reshaped. They serve as a visual and emotional map of Esfahani’s own journey as an immigrant and her search for what cannot be fully found. On display at Central Branch in the Glass Case Gallery until Nov. 16.

Esfahani is an award-winning Iranian Canadian visual artist. Her work has been exhibited at the Aga Khan Museum, Canadian Cultural Centre Paris, and the Doris McCarthy Gallery. Join Esfahani in her upcoming workshop, Calligraphy as Art. Spaces are limited so register early.
